 Tindur frá Fitjamyri(CA2005102066)

F: Flugar frá Skálakoti

FF: Orri fra Þufu

FM: Syrpa fra Skalakoti

M: Sunna frá Stóra-Dal

MF: Funi fra Stora Hofi

MM:  Perla frá Efra-Apavatni

Tindur is a “big and beautiful” spirited stallion.  He is four gaited and is supple throughout his whole body.  His confirmation is fabulous, and the flowing movements of his gaits are like dancing.  Tindur broke his cannon bone in two pieces on the way to the last evaluation, so we are awaiting the next breed show to get his scores. Although his performance is now slightly hindered by the accident, we have high hopes for him.    His most valuable assets are his personality and his clear easy gaits which get passed on to his foals.  All his foals show lots of tölt at liberty, and are very friendly.

SEGULL FRA STORA-HOFI RANG 878

Sire: Thattur fra Kirkjubaer 722 (Elite Stallion)

Dam: Nott fra Kroggulfsstodum (Elite Mare)

Color: Bay.

Born: 1986 in Iceland

Segull came from Iceland in 1995. He is a First Class stallion and scored a total of 8.37 for conformation and 8.19 for riding. In 1994 he received the second highest score for conformation in all of Iceland and his picture was printed in the Icelandic Breeding Journal with the comment "An example of how the Icelandic Horse should be built". Both of Segull's parents have achieved the highly sought after title ELITE HORSES and Segull is only the second stallion sired by two Elite horses to have been exported from Iceland. Segull is one of the highest evaluated stallion in North America and we are happy and honoured to have been able to bring a stallion of such magnitude to Canada. Besides his impressive pedigree and evaluation scores Segull displays brilliant gaits and a very natural tolt. He has a very nice disposition and can be handled and ridden by children. Segull will be an excellent addition to the Canadian and US breeding of Icelandic horses and brings us even closer to our goal of breeding natural tolting, easy going family horses who can also excel in competitions.

LOGI FRA SKARðI [CAN 2045]

The highest evaluated 4-gaited stallion in North America

Logi may be considered a living legend in the history of Icelandic Horse breeding. He has a very good reputation world wide – especially because of the high quality of his offspring. Being one of the last sons of the famous Honour Stallion Hrafn frá Holtsmúla still available for breeding, Logi gives the possibility to continue some of the old traditional bloodlines from Iceland. In the book “The Icelandic Horse”, several pages have been dedicated to Hrafn frá Holtsmúla and his big influence. Hrafn is considered the greatest stallion of the last century – a sire of gæðingar (dream horses). Logi himself has produced over 30 first prize offspring and has been awarded First Prize for offspring. Logi is listed in the 2005 Stodhestar book as one of the top 20 Icelandic Stallions having 50 or more judged offspring. Some of the other horses in this prestigious category are Orri frá Pufu, Gustur frá Holi, Gustur frá Grund, Hrafn frá Holtsmúla, Ofeigur frá Flugumyri and many other legends. Logi is available for stud for purebred registered Icelandic mares only. Live foal guarantee. Off farm lease possible.
